Key assignment config file???

FSX including FSX Steam version.

Key assignment config file???

Is there some file in FSX that stores the key assignments, that can be saved and put away some place safe so that it can't be lost and doesn't have to be redone when FSX is re-installed?

Most of the better yokes and joysticks allow you to save profiles.

Key/joystick assignments are saved in the 'Standard.xml' file, located in the ....\Controls\ subfolder where the fsx.cfg file is kept.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
