Uninstalling FSX and "save game files"

MS Insider: "When uninstalling FSX, users will be asked if they would like to remove their 'save game files.' I shall reinstall, so I certainly want to keep mine. But MS Insider doesn't speciify whether that option applies to uninstalling by Add/Remove or FSX disc, or both. I want to use Add/Remove. Will that offer me the option to save the files?

You may need to use the disc to uninstall.

Right. Use the disc, and it will ask you automatically if you want to save your files.
