Any particular aircraft?  I've never had a problem with the engine sounds not responding to the throttle

I'm not sure I understand what you are asking.  Do you want your engines to whine at full-bore-open-throttle all the time?

What I want is no.  I want to make the engine queit when idle.  Anything else?

Oh, the other way around.  Either way, I hve no idea.  I was thinking it may have something to do with the feul flow scaler in the AC .cfg file, but I cannot say for sure.

Not sure....

But for realistic sounds I think you're better off just downloading a premade one. :)

I just purse my lips together and make my own sounds...

...been doing that since I was 5-years old... ;)...!

Paul.... ;D... ;D... ;D...!

.....but there are some quite nice, authentic sounds out there to download.. ;)...!

FS Sound Studio allows this type of manipulation but you need to have a basic understanding of time and frequency and how that equates to sound files. Its payware and comes with instructions and a nice GUI for changing sound pitch, speed, whine volume based on throttle postion
