Did the same thing to me. But My comp wont display good water textures anyways. Will just have to save and upgrade.
My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

Make sure you have your water setting on the 2x setting and not the 1x. It has to be at least at the 2x low setting.

If your video card is a little outdated, it may not have the ability to display the shaders correctly or at all. Go ahead and give us your specs to see if we can figure something out. If not, you can always ask the FSWC folks directly at their website www.fswaterconfigurator.com/forum

Indeed, I think the graphics card on this laptop, dedicated or not, is not strong enough to display the current shader graphics that FSWC uses. I'm not 100% sure, but this is usually the case with old computers. You should still check with the FSWC guys in their forums just to be completely sure, but I do recall others here having the same problem with the only solution being to upgrade.

Well its not an old laptop just bought it in APRIL, I thought it was a newer model  ;D.
I can run my FSX okay but its not much of a huge gamers thing and im moving from my dads to my moms and on vacation so I cant have a hardcore PC yet.. and I dont think you can upgrade on a laptop  :(...
