Can anyone help me with this..

I am trying to create a video of flying over parliament (london parliament) , but i have to turn my settings up to a point to where I am not able to use fraps and get better than 4 FPS, is there something i can use to have only parliament show up, and not have ALL of london?

Could you not just speed up the video thereafter? Even if you get 4FPS, I would imagine it would atleast record at the correct speed (roughly 20FPS) as it would cause an entire system lag... so that even if it is trying to record at 20FPS and you are getting 4FPS, it would slow down the FPS on FRAPS.

I have confused myself now. But if the lag doesn't cause FRAPS to slow down in FPS with it, you could use any number of editing programs to double the speed to a more fluid FPS level.

I don't use FRAPS, so I don't know about that. I do know that your signature image is linked to another website, which i s a no no....

What i see while im recording is what the final output of the video is =/

4fps in flight = 4fps in final video

Would cooling my CPU help?

Update: i hate this

i was just getting 34fps without recording...

then i started recording and it dropped violently to 6fps..

Well if your computer cant handle it to record maybe you need to use a diffrent recorder..

I want fraps but I dont know if its worth buying or not..
