If you don't have rudder pedals or twist grip rudder control, goto the Realism settings and activate 'Autorudder'.

The rudder, thus ground steering, will now be controlled by the aileron axis. This also provides automatic 'turn coordination' when flying.

Drawback-It will make crosswind landings and helicopter flying more difficult as these are best done with seperate aileron and rudder control.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
