Aircraft download technical problems

Hi all!
    I've had some technical problems with FSX aircraft downloaded from simviation, so if anybody can help it would be greatly appreciated. On using some aircraft in the Free Flight mode, after selecting the aircraft it goes to the options screen as normal. The aircraft then appears in the 3D rotating window at the bottom of the screen for a fraction of a second, and then the whole 3D aircraft viewing screen goes white. If the Free Flight is loaded up, the virtual cockpit appears only as a white screen, but external views work, again only for a fraction of a second. This has happened with the Sea Hurricane, the A6M2 and the MD500. Can anybody please help?

Hi. I suspect that these are all FS9 models 'updated' to work in FSX. Some of these updates work better than others. Be aware that they might not be compatible with all versions of FSX. Try them by all means but if you have this sort of problem it might be best to delete them.

Sorry - I should have made it clearer in the original post: they are FSX aircraft that worked fine for a couple of weeks, and then randomly one day encountered this problem. I download things fairly regularly, but can't think of any downloads that should have affected the aircraft. Any other thoughts?

Have you installed the SP1 or SP2 updates (or Acceleration) since they last worked? It could also be your video card drivers/display settings.

Nope, nothing like that has changed at all. This just seems to have happened at random. The only thing I can think of was I changed the load up screen and had a go at changing the menu screens, but then changed the menu screens back to the originals.

Try reducing your graffic settings.  I have had this happen before and as I recall I just reduced my graffic settings and everything started working.  After it started working I set my graffic settings back up and never had the problem again.
