hello

FSX including FSX Steam version.

hi everybody,....i'm new here.
i just want to ask ur help......i know its easy but need ur help.
i started collecting aiplane texture for my fsx....but the prblem is, i cant save it on airplane.cfg file. always say....denied.

Have you checked that the file isn't write-protected?

Take ur "aircraft cfg file out of the aircraft u are installing it on and put it in a tempory location in (My Documents) then do the mod to it then save it in that tempory location. then once u have done that... move it back into the aircraft file you origanly got it from... hopefully that will work as I have to do the same as I am using vista which has that problem.   :)

That's the way it (always) should be done. But I think it doesn't solve the problem with not being able to change that file (or maybe it does?!?).
I'm operating XP so maybe it's a specific Vista prob?

I understand that this is a specific Vista problem so Brett is probably correct.

Don't forget to take a backup copy of any files before editing them.

Thanks for the reply guys.....yeah i'm using vista ultimate.....
anyway i will try ur advice, to take out the cfg file and try to modify it on other folder.
