Tu-134 engines die when going to 2D cockpit

Downloaded the TU-134:

http://www.simviation.com/simviation/?t ... =60&page=2

Weird looking files, no specific installation instructions, so I placed the whole she-bang in the simobject/airplane folder as with the usual installation.  Even though it's advertized as FSX, it lacked thumbs, so I added them.  Shows up on the selection page, preview page, adn in the sim, but No matter what I do, the engines will not stay running.  I do the ctrl+E, 1, and sngine 1 will spin up, then "pass gas" and thump, then spin down.  I've done just ctrl+E, spins up, then dies.  I've tried it using various throttle setting, moving the throttls when it sound like it's taking, not moving the throttle, and flipping a bird at the computer screen.  Nadda.

Also, at a point when the engine sounds like it's starting to spin up, the "co-pilot" says something in Russian.  I have no idea what he's saying, but it dosen't help any since I don't speak Russian.  Maybe he's saying, "Flip that switch.", but I haven't found any switch to flip that maintains running engines.  Maybe there is, but I haven't found them yet.

Since there are (at this time) some 4300+ downloads, I'm fairly certain that someone has running engines.

Another thing that's a little pecular is that the download contains this little widget called "Tu-134 Service", which when run, appears to be a fuel load form and a fuel load calculator.  Apparently, you have to enter a value for the length of your flight to your primary destination, and an alternate, and it fills your tanks to the correct load and distribution.  Did that, and when entering into simulation, the engines are running.

Hazzow!

The download also had another little widget called an "analizer" in a folder entitled "msrp".  I have no idea what that does.  There is also a config *folder* (Not to be confused with the "aircraft.cfg" *file*), and I'm not sure what is for either.

But back to the sim:

Engines are running, no VC, so I go to the 2d, and again, the engines die.

Tried again, stayed in the non-existant VC. Went to various external views, admired the sleek lines, and so on, extended flaps, accelerated, got off the ground, climbed to about 5,000,  noticed that there was no engine smoke, but it did have the ever popular "pet meteors".  Switched to 2d, and the engines died again.

At least it appears to glide pretty good.  ::)

The download contained no instructions, "read me", or the like.

Any suggestions or should I just swap out the TU-134 panel with one from a 717 (if that would even work)?
