I guess it's because your're running on a old graphics card?

I had the same problem with my Geforce4....,
bought a new one and everything works fine.

Maybe NickN can help here,

Cheers,

Low res video card ability

Advanced Animations are not enabled and if the card can not work with that setting enabled, you need a hardware upgrade

Advanced animations is located in the GRAPHICS settings.. place a check in the box

Hi, I also had this problem, it really is annoying, I'm no expert by any stretch but I think it is to do with the wing flex on the 747, however I installed Service Pack 1 and also checked the advanced animations box in graphic settings. Thankfully this worked for me, hope this helps and you get it sorted! :)
