Black screens after installing aircraft.

FSX including FSX Steam version.

Black screens after installing aircraft.

Postby gary42127 » Thu Jun 19, 2008 10:31 pm

After installing CLS' A340-600 package, I have a black screen where you see the aircraft you've selected, and on the main "in-flight" screen after selecting "fly now".

I uninstalled the A340 and verified that the latest video driver was installed, but still have the black screens.

I have FSX SP1 installed, and am using a 8600GT video board.

Any ideas?

One thing I forgot to mention is that after clicking "fly now" and everything loads up, I have all the normal sounds, etc...just no images.

I also tried my FS9 installation which I haven't used in a while, and it works perfectly.

Either post in the CLS or the Justflight forum, depending on where you purchased the product.  Albert posts in both of these so he will see you at either one.  Their is also a patch for FSX SP2/Acceleration at each forum-get the right one for the place of purchase.  That has to be your starting point.
