Only recommendation I could make is installing TreeX V2.

Second last download. Just maybe that will fix it. I use this file and it really makes the trees look good.

Hope it works.

Tried to set the sliders a little to the left (Decreasing graphics)?

I once loaded a FS9 scenery into FSX and got black angles on my trees. Donno if that might be ur case.

Other then that, I am out of options  :-/

I once loaded a FS9 scenery into FSX and got black angles on my trees.

I got the same problem with the rectangles and as of yet cant solve it. Sorry. Me thinks its 'alpha channel'/SP2 problem but cant get it to work yet and I have tried.

>:(

Any help from scenery guys would be of help. Hagar whats this about % of transparancy?? Could you offer advice.

Thanks

Sorry Carl. I can't give anything but general advice on FSX. Too many possible variables & I only have the Demo.

It would help to know if this problem is with default or 3rd party scenery.

Its 3rd Party scenery unfortunately, and have contacted the designer but not heard anything as of yet.

How does one set the level of transparancy using DXTBmp?

I just uninstalled SP2 and the blackness has gone, so its def a SP2 issue  and therefore an'alpha channel' issue I assume. So its a decision to make...can you live with the rectangles or SP2 but cant have both  :( ....until that issue can be solved. I'm still waiting for reply from designer.

BTW is it southern african scenery by any chance? Aeroworx?

Carl

I just checked the Aeroworx site. It appears that they're gradually updating their FSX scenery to be SP2 compatible. http://www.aeroworxsa.co.za/curscen.html
