Oh well I think everyone does it even pilots so its not "noob". Did you ever get lined up with runway succesfully?

The pdf quick tutorial on setting up the gps was good; however, the final leg on approach was a little unclear.  I'm assuming you dial in the freq on the localizer and the gps approach will keep you lined up.  Once you select app will it control your descent?
