Wheel problem

Postby alb469 » Tue Jun 03, 2008 12:06 pm

I installed Mike Stones PBY5a and after a new panel install it works very well. However the aircraft wheels show as three round black circles with no detail. I have noticed this problem also on Mikes cl44. is there a fix for this. Thats a question for the texture experts I guess.

Mike Stone's aircraft were always "low budget" models...

IOW, he didn't bother to texture such details as wheels/tires, choosing instead to just use a default "black" color for them...  ;D

I alwats found mikes A/C to work very well tho they sometimes needed a few tweaks. The pbys wheels were fine in fs9 but I guess that texture used in fs9 will not translate in fsx. If someone can point  me to a wheel texture i can use it would be much appreciated. I looked at  fsx A/C texture files but I dont know one file from the other. :-?
