Missing/corrupt D2Fea~12 file

I've recently been trying to reinstall FS-X, but on the disk 2 process, I'm always getting a 1305 error. I've done some research, and found that many people copy all the disk files onto a folder, then install from that folder instead of the disks. I tried that, and then I get an error trying to copy the D2Fea~12 file, because of an "I/O device error". Apparently, M$ disks are uber sensitive to scratches (unlike my other beat-up game disks). I've checked the disk, and found that the D2Fea~12 file is the only one broken, so I don't want to buy a new copy, or have to pay M$ to send me a replacement disk just so I can replace this one file.

So, is there anywhere I can download this particular file? If it's not too much trouble, could someone possibly host the file for me to download?

I'm not some punk trying to illegally download the game, I can show you proof that I own a hard copy if necessary.

From what I heard, and I may have heard wrong, is that if it's a new disk (You just bought the game, and didn't damage the disk), M$ would probably send you a new disk free of charge.

I've had the game for a while. I think now it's like a $23 charge to replace the disk. I could do that, but I think it's way too much trouble just for 1 file.

One file, or one *game*?  But then again, I wouln't be surprised if you could find a new FSX on e-bay for around what M$ want's to charge you to replace the disk.
