In theory... a given load will have a given pitch, at a given airspeed.. but in big jets, the transition time can be rather lengthy. If the approach

Are you guys real pilots?
Seems like some of you are becuase your more interested in props but dont get me wrong there fun but I guess I do fly bigger jets to much. Im thinking about starting to fly props now to practice when I deside to get my pilots license.

Another guestion is, how much degree's do you pitch up on the landing? 5? 10?

Got my private pilot's license also, but i'm sure I have hundreds of hours, and several ratings less than Brett

Can I fire up the flightsim and successfully complete a cross country flight with one of the airline jets? Sure. It's not perfect, I don't fly on the numbers like I should, and my approach is a bit sloppy compared to others, but I can make it down in one piece without too many problems.

But my real joy is firing up a prop, and flying cross country with radio nav aids, and my trusty maps. I get a lot more satisfaction after flying for several hours and arriving at my destination without ever looking at the GPS, or the FSX map to see where I was. Sure, i'll use the FSX Map to look up a frequency I need, but Even when I do that, I already know where i'm at.

The scenery is just so much better at 3,000 ft AGL compared to FL360.... ;D

But I will admit that since Alrot released his Cessna Citation the other day, i've been flying that every night.

I have my license as well, hiowever that has nothing to do with my selections of aircraft in flight sim.  The main reason I suggested to try a smaller airplane is because it is easier to learn the basics on.  Once you have the basics down, it is much easier to fly the big complicated aircraft.
