Pry didnt need to do this but....

well FSX wouldnt launch it would freeze on the loading screen it did this 3 days ina row so I copied all my simobjects scenery and effects folders out and uninstalled I still have to reinstall but could I have done something befor euninstalling  :-/

Well, deleting the FSX.cfg would have been a nice start. Checking your pilot log as well.
