real photo scenery

Postby addictme » Mon May 05, 2008 5:11 pm

Last week, while I was flying over the Florida Keys on my sim, I was wondering why it is that there's not enough detail to at least see the Overseas Highway. I used to live and work in the 'Key's many years ago and I know the area very well. My question to the group is this, why didn't MS use anymore detail in setting up the scenery? Is there a way to use real photos for scenery as we fly over the landscape? Does any of this make any sense? I was just wondering, that's all.
Go forth and enjoy your adventures. :)

It's there.  You may have to check your scenery detail settings on your "Settings" page.

...or have a look in the Scenery-section of the SimV-Downloads: you can get a photorealistic scenery for many sites (but I don't know if there's one for the keys yet :-/)
