What are the pros/cons of FSX SP2? Is it worth the trouble of installing?

Well, there are more incompatibility issues with SP2/Acceleration, but Acceleration includes three awsome new aircraft, and it improves performance

I'm with Phil, it's a good buy.

And heck there are now more than enough compliant add-on aircraft for FSX Sp2 than bothering with warmed over models from the past, that often have big fps hits.

With the Wilco airbus through to the 340, FSD Navajo, the Flight 1 Cheyenne, PC-12 Pilatus, ATR 72-500 and LDS 767, the SF260 etc, etc. I have more than enough.  I found the 737 PIC caused registry problems so that's my single gap but I've found mastering the A320 a good experience. PMDG better hurry up with their new 737, I mightn't want to shift.   I'll get the PMDG 747X as soon as its out on disk.

And that's not even mentioning the fantastic scenery add-ons that bring out the real power of FSX!

Sp2 helps performance and most future addons are designed specifically for it.
