weird problem

Hey everyone,
Im having a weird problem with FSX and I hope yall can help me get it figured out.

Every-time I load up any plane(i primarily use jets though) the engines shut down right after loading.  If the throttle is not at idle then the engines wont shut down, but if it is at idle they shut down.  Anyone ever have this problem or any ideas how to fix it?

Anything would be greatly appreciated.

What are you using to control the throttle, just the keyboard or do you have a joystick, yoke, etc. with throttle control? It's probably something to do with the settings for whatever controller you are using. I know that's kind of vague but it's hard to say more without knowing what you are running.

Im using the CH yoke that has the throttle control.  The mixture and propellor speed things are set for flaps and spoilers.  The only engine control button I have on keyboard and the yoke is the throttle which is on the yoke.

I think you have two controls mixed. I had something similar happen once, where I'd be flying along and all of a sudden the throttle would jump to idle. Trouble is...I don't remember exactly how I fixed it, sorry! It's going to be some combination of the CH Products setup and the FSX controls setup.

thanks for the reply, I turned off the mixture and prop controls and that helped it hasnt happened since.
