Inside the aircrafg.cfg their must be an EXIT declaration similar to the 747-400 example below.  These have to be tailored to each plane though you could find suitable settings by using a similar plane and copying/pasting the declaration, then use trial and error to adjust.  Or search the net for ones other people have done.....

[exits]
number_of_exits = 2
exit.0 = 0.4, -30.30,  -9.0,  0.88,0 //openclose rate percent per second, longitudinal, lateral, vertical positions from datum (feet), type (0=Main 1=Cargo 2=Emergency)
exit.1 = 0.4, -146.0,   8.0, -7.5, 1 //openclose rate percent per second, longitudinal, lateral, vertical positions from datum (feet), type (0=Main 1=Cargo 2=Emergency)
exit.2 = 0.4, -42.30,   9.0, -7,   2 //openclose rate percent per second, longitudinal, lateral, vertical positions from datum (feet), type (0=Main 1=Cargo 2=Emergency)

You can edit .cfg files in vista just fine.
1. right click and select "properties"
2. click the "security" tab
3. click "edit" and tell UAC it is O.K.
4. select "Users" from the list and put a check mark in the "Full Controll"
5. Click "allow" or "OK" and you are done.

Alternatively, you can edit the .cfg and save it to a temporary location such as your desktop. Then move it back into its appropriate folder and replace the original. But, the above method lets you be able to save any changes you make on to the original .cfg just fine.

The other option to use it is open the file, make changes and when you save select 'other files'.  Save it to the desktop, put the original in a safe place or with a .bak format and then float the desktop copy back in.  The advantage is any future changes to this file will not need to be done this way.  You will be able to save them directly having done this once.

The example given is just that an example......  It is from the 747-400 and might not be the most fitting example to use.  Its only to give you an idea of the principle.  You would also need to make changes to it.  As in watch where the jetway physically connects and then giestimate the difference and which figures to adjust.  then try again, then repeat, then try again....

Be good to do some searches on the net to see if someone has already done it or at least got it pretty close so you have less work to do. Good luck, have fun-I can only point you roughly in the direction you need to go.....

It can be an uphill struggle at some airports.  You have to be on or near the marker line with handbrake on and cargo doors open for the cargo boys to move.  All depends on these factors, I sometimes find I have to move slightly before its triggered at some airports.

No, you misinterpreted-the handbrake has to be on!  Just watch the plane in different positions and airports, doesn`t 100% always work.  Also the sizes in the example may be wrong, could even be the wrong side.  Or front and back swapped, it was only an example file for you to start with and work on yourself.

Lets start again.....

(1) You need to be on or near the line at the gate, it varies at each airport

(2) The exit statement needs the correct measurements for the cargo doors, I only gave you an example not the proper one for each aircraft.

(3) The cargo doors need to be open, if more than one you need to open them all

(4) The Parking Brake has to be >>> ON <<<

(5) FSX Settings: Advanced animations ticked

(6) FSX Settings, Traffic Tab: Airport Vehicle Density: Medium or above

These are just about all the things that might affect it working or not.
