Best Aircraft

Postby Boshar67 » Fri Mar 14, 2008 12:41 pm

Looking for opinions on the most realistic aircraft (flight charactoristics, functional guages/switches/radios/navigation, etc.  Recommendations can either be freeware or purchased.

Thanks for any input.

I have a few aircrafts that i really like which look great.

Pilatus PC-12

Piper Cheyenne
http://www.aerosoft.com/cgi-local/re/ib ... owd,,10283

PMDG 747
http://www.precisionmanuals.com/priv/pa ... /744x.html

Level-D 767
http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=ld767fsx

They all look and feel realistic to me, with great attention to detail, but can kill your framerates a bit at times, especially the 767 & 747.

Not 100 percent sure about the accuracy, but the Real Air Spitfire and the Scout are probably the best add-on aircraft ever made...  ;)

If you're talking about the RealAir Spit, it is worth it.  I wasn't exaggerating when I said it was the best ever.  The first time I flew it and blew the engine, I almost crapped my pants...  ;D

The Piper Cheyenne is EUR 39.95, but well worth the money.

Here's a very indepth review: http://www.avsim.com/pages/0208/CheyenneX/CheyenneX.htm
