Help in the Tokyo Executive mission (special bit)

Postby machineman9 » Sat Feb 02, 2008 12:13 pm

I am doing that mission where you start in a helicopter and must ship some people to Narita airport.

I then accepted the prompt to do the special bit of the mission where you help this british intelligence guy follow the aircraft. After what felt like days of following this aircraft I finally got to the island where we had to land. I landed first (as I was going too quickly to let the other plane land) and now I dont know what I need to do to complete the mission.

There is no compass, no guy telling me what to do and I am stuck on an insland several hundred miles from anywhere.

Any help please?

Cheers

You failed :P
The other plane had to land first, and then dissapear in this hidden hangar... but I recognized it was one hell of speedbraking that the other plane does on the final turn, I had to perform an emergency 360 not to overshoot...

Could I not sneak outside the hangar again? (by that I mean go through the wall... it got me into that place  ;))

And then take off, do a loop and re-land..? Would that work? It sems like it just needs the order of events to happen.

I would be so naffed off if otherwise  ;D

I don't know...
What about the other plane ? Did he land and enter the hangar or not ?
I got my mission end message right after landing, but I landed after the plane. I do not think that taking off and landing again would solve anything, but you can try, it costs nothing :)

You have to be kidding me...

The save has the hangar doors open and with no runway.

This is dreadful  :'(

Yeah, the whole mission thing is all screwed up sometimes.

In the Keys Kayakers mission, during the search, I had the hoist ready, then the co-pilot says that they can't rescue anyone because the hoist broke.

Obviously, hoist wasn't broken, and I continued.  I found the kayakers, grabbed them, and flew back to the airport (whilst taking some very nice screenies of XG clouds, and my FSWC'd water), and when I landed there, nothing happened.

I decided, fine, I'll land directly where the giant arrow was pointing, and again, nothing happened.  Finally, I decide that I'll try landing fixed-wing aircraft style, by flying forward then braking as I go along the runway.  Again, nothing happened, so I just went over to where I first started.

Nothing.

So, I quit the mission, and I'll fly it some other time...

I have problem with the same mission. After long flight I tried to land, saved the game in the moment of landing - crashed, loaded the game ... and the plane sunk in the water, because there was no landing strip more. Once I landed properly, and I drove through the closed gate ... problem again.
I think, this mission is simply BIG SHIT.

I had the success message without entering in the hangar if I remember well. I just landed and parked right in front of the Ekranoplan. As for the flight save, I don't know, never used it before... :/
