Aircraft.cgf problem

Postby MetalMulishaman828 » Tue Mar 04, 2008 3:25 am

I have a problem whenever I try to save into my Aircraft.cgf file, it says I dont have the permission to save it there, and for me to check if the path was correct, I have windows vista if that explains anything.

Either:

(1) Turn UAC off, which I disagree with for some users

or

(2) Save as 'all files' rather than text, to the desktop.  Make a copy of the original working file then move the version from the desktop to the correct folder.  After doing this once, you can do it normally without using the desktop after that.

If anyone comes along and says just set FSX and/or the file to Administrator status, don`t bother because it doesn`t work.

That will be a problem with the file itself, not Vista.  If its an FS2004 aircraft to use in FSX then sometimes they need some changes to work.  Their will be plenty information in the forum on that problem, just use search.
