Autogen Radius

Postby DavidE » Sun Feb 17, 2008 6:41 pm

Alright I need help. Been running FSX with FEX, GEX Enhanced, UTX, FSGenesis and XCLass with sliders maxed (with the exception for water, cloud distance and traffic density) at 1680 x 1050. Framerate is great, and nearly everthing looks terrific except for the fact I can not stand the autogen popup occuring so close. This is such an immersion killer for me.

Is there a way to extend the Autogen Radius past the defaults?

I have searched everywhere and cannot find any information on this. There has to be a way to extend the autogen radious further out in FSX. I know there will be a severe penelty hit for this, but I have got try.

Thanks in Advance,
DavidE

You can try playing around with the LOD_RADIUS in the FSX.cfg, push it to more than 4.5 and see what happens.

Also, the autogen tweaks are increasing the popups.

Autogen popping is by design.. its called Alpha Fade, Aces removed it and it will not be coming back till FS11

And when do you think we will see FS11, not 2009 I would think.  Maybe even 2011!

Where have I been?

Getting ready to accept the nobel prize for sim addons    LOL

just kidding

I have been finishing up the UTX/GEXn patch and another fix patch for GEXn

As for AG popping, forget it, it was removed by Aces to recover resources when SP1 was released and they decided to leave it out.

FS11 is at the very minimum 2 years out
