FSX acceleration crashed my FSX

I just installed Accceleration, went to load it up, get past activation, and then I get a message that says FSX has crashed, if you were in the middle of something the information might be lost, etc.  It has that check mark to restart FSX.  If FSX restarts, it just crashes again.  CANNOT GET INTO FS.  any suggestions, besides uninstalling fs and doing a clean install with acceleration?

I think (take this with a grain of salt) that if you had installed SP2 into FSX before installing Acceleration, there can be some problems.  I have heard that the same goes for some types of third-party add-ons.

In either case, my suggestion would be to completely uninstall FSX and Acceleration, then re-install FSX followed by Acceleration before installing any additional add-ons.  Also, with Acceleration you will NOT need to (nor want to) install SP2.  It's already in the install.

Just some ideas that I hope will help.

In case you want to make a full reinstall, the just two advises:
- when you uninstall, just make SURE that the uninstall was complete and clean, check the registry, check the "document and settings" subfolder etc.... check that EVERYTHING has been removed.
- when you reinstall, don't forget to turn OFF antivirus software, then install FSX, start it once, quit and reboot, and install Acceleration directly, don't try to apply any SP, Acceleration will handle everything in the correct order.

I got it figured out..did a clean boot, and it came up with a couple errors resulting from add ons.  Deleted those add-ons, and everything works good.
