There is a program that I installed off of avsim I believe that was for aicarriers2R2.zip.  Now, the first time I seen a post for this, there was a couple of things you needed to add to your aircrafts cfg. file to make it work with the catapult.  I can not remember where I seen this and I can not make my planes launch.  It uses the same features as needed to launch using the carrier in acceleration.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need a tailhook specification and the new, Acceleration launch bar
and launch assist settings.

Here are the sections from the T-45A that I have installed:

[TailHook]
//tailhook_length=6.5
tailhook_length=7.0
tailhook_position=-16.206, 0.0, 1.031
cable_force_adjust=1.0

[launch_assistance]
launch_bar_pivot=12.6, 0, -0.2    //0.90, 0.00, -0.09
launch_bar_lug=12.6, 0, -5.2      //0.90, 0.00, -4.09

You may need to adjust the settings for each aircraft.
Use the 'contact points' section to get estimates of the
position of the various elements.
