problem adding scenery

Postby Meck » Thu Feb 14, 2008 7:55 am

Hey,

I just downloaded the Matterhorn-scenery here and have installed it according to the readme. Problem: I don't see how to 'tell' FSX that I added a new scenery to the main scenery-folder (I know about theoreticly adding at 'settings --> scenerylibrary --> add scenery' [or whatever it's called in AE; I'm german], but I can't find any files [not even a  *.bgl] in the folders, even the default ones...).

So far I don't see anything but the standart scenery when flying.

help appr. thx
:)

If you followed the readme file I think FSX will automatically add the scenery when you start it up. You should see the screen stating adding nes scenery indexes pop up. If the files were put in the Addon Scenery Folder you might have to click on the settings tab then go into the library scenery once there you click add new scenery then you browse to where you placed the scenery and click on the scenery folder for Matterhorn click ok and FSX should add the scenery for you without having to restart FSX. 8-)
