I was doing VOR instrument approaches yesterday and today whenever i try to start FSX my computer freezes so i uninstall and reinstall and it stops on some file in emergency missions under CAP/ soundwav15 or something like that. It says im not authorized to use that directory, im on XP and have admin rights.

I was able to get it installed but when i try to launch it my computer freezes for a bit then a window pops up saying flight simulator can not load program files or something like that and that i have to reinstall.
My disks have no damage and my dvd drive is working fine.

Ok, well I did that and got it installed, but when I try to load it, it freezes my computer for a while then says "flight simulator could not load some files, please reinstall flight simulator and try again.

Oh my,

once I had the same error,
- Install of DVD 1 with no problem
- Install of DVD 2 with no problem till near the end
- Error Code 1722 / 1603
