I am reasonably certain they should work except for cargo doors not all aircraft have working cargo doors. One quick way to find out is to check out the aircraft cfg file for that aircraft. look for something like below
[exits]
number_of_exits = 2
exit_rate.0 = 0.4
exit_rate.1 = 0.4
This came out of A B727-200 for FS2004 it has a opening cargo door and a rear stairwell that opens.
In order to make these doors work I had to assign the TAIL HOOK to on and WING FOLD assignments to the other

For the jetway to work, you must use the keys combo you said in your first post, but before that, if I remember well the plane must be parked precisely, the engines must be turned off and the parking brakes must be set as well... and maybe the electrics must be off as well, but I'm not too sure about this one.

Also, for the luggage trucks to come to your plane, this plane must have a cargo door, and you must open it once you're parked. To open the cargo door, use SHIFT+E then 3. It works with the default CRJ or Boeing 737 if I'm not mistaken.

I'm also trying to get the ground support equipment to come to the plane. I can only get the main exit open on the default 737, when I go shift+e+3 it brings up GPS :-?

Press (Shift + E), release both and press the exit number, in this case 3.
At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

wait how come some airports(kdfw) dont have gates or buildings where its supposed to and does the atc have to guide you to a gate before you can use the jetway? do cargo and passengers really get transferred?

Some airports are more detailled than others. Only major airports will have those facilities in the game.
No passenger and no cargo are transfered, the weight of yor aircraft will not change. The only thing that is really happening so far in the sim is the refuel. Everything else is ONLY visual.
I'm not sure if you really need to go where the ATC told you, but on another hand, why not ?

my local airport(kdfw A.K.A dallas fort-worth international) is a major airport. it says its supposed to be better looking but i believe terminal C and D are building-less.

The number of buildings and jetways (at airports that have them) that display is dependant on your Settings>Display>Scenery tab>Scenery complexity slider. Jetways require at least the 'Dense' setting.

If you think buildings or jetways are missing, increase the slider. KDFW has jetways.

Were you using an aircraft that had a cargo door defined in its cfg ?
If the cargo "exit" is not defined in the cfg, then it will not work. Have you tried with the default CRJ for example ?
Also, ensure that your airport vehicule density is high enough...
