If i download this, does it effect my play?, like slow it down?

Absolutely not, I will require more time to load the game because of the downloading the maps in bitmaps in a temporaly or cache sector, But you need a fast internet conection ..

mine I very slow 700-800 KBPS , and it did work very well, but was annoying to wait until 20 minutes to load.

Faster connection = Faster loading.. 8-)

Ahh I almost forgot ,the default Google maps is not working anymore due to some issue with copyright etc, so Some one told me to use Yahoo mapps instead erase all and copy- paste

Not to erase everything,Its to EDIT nothing else and just the file proxiUser.ini only that one, make a back up if you want,

first try as it cames I'm sure wont work youll see a black mesh everywhere ,then ,. do as I said..
