Default Maule nav lights

Postby SubZer0 » Mon Dec 17, 2007 11:41 pm

Hey guys.

I just went for a short trip in south FL (where I am) and I noticed that, for some reason, none of the lights would turn on (except for panel) unless I had the landing lights on.. Anyone else notice this or is it just me pressing the wrong buttons here?

EDIT: This was on the default Maule (no skis) btw.

Do you have Acceleration, and does this occur with all aircraft in DX10 mode?

A few of us don't have nav or beacon lights when running DX10 with Acceleration

Yes, I have SP2 with Acceleration, but it's on DX9 in XP pro.

Ive had the same problem since the beginning, something I thought Acceleration would fix which it didn't.  Never asked cause it didn't bother be all that much but I would like to know why it happens. That or a fix for it.  ;D

Using FS Panel Stuido I looked at the gauges the Maule uses for the lights. Not 100% sure but it might be the gauge itself
unlike the Mooney the switches in the Maule Switches are a single gauge and tied together by using XML the switches in the Mooney are independent and the XML is unique in each switch. You could try swapping switches and see if the problem goes away. 8-)
