Hi again.....
I have been noticing that as I start FSX, I get between 28-43 fps, really nice.......after about 20 minutes
fps start to go down to a no flying 6 to 8 fps.......I save the flight and re-start and that
2 gig Ram
time to up the ante
3gigs minimum in Vista, 4 preferred and on a 32bit OS you have to hack the VISTA cache manually to get more than 2 to work. Even then you will only be getting about 3 at most with 4 installed and 2.2-2.5 at most with 3 installed.
I would not use a 32bit OS because of that. 64bit will use all the memory you can throw at it, and 100% of it
Download Speedfan and check out the CPU temperature, the FSX forces the CPU more than you can imagine, all of them Dual,p4, I did had to buy a special fan cooler because of that
Return to Flight Simulator X (FSX) and Steam
