Rhino Rescue Mission problem

Postby Wingo » Fri Nov 23, 2007 3:14 am

I'm trying to complete that mission where you rescue the rhino. (It's one of the Acceleration missions). Anyway I find the Rhino, capture the poachers then fly back to the DC-3 where I have to land the helicopter on the helipad and get into the DC-3. I can place the helicopter perfectly in the pad, under the mission arrows nothing happens. I try shutting down the engine, still doesn't work. I've doubled my landing count trying to get in the right spot!! How the hell am I meant to trigger the next stage?

Well, I somehow managed to trigger the next part of the mission. But still, does anyone know what exactly it was that did it? I can't work out what it was.

Hi ,I've done the same as you, mission continued to next step. However when I land the DC-3 and taxi up th the next point ,the mission hangs here and won't trigger the next point.  This is also happening in some of fthe other missions at various points. It's getting a little frustrating.  any help appreciated,
Cheers,

I had no problem with that point. I just taxied straight across the grass and up to it, then the mission ended.

Out of interest, how did you make your approach in the helicopter to the marker at the DC-3? When it worked for me, I changed from a straight in to approaching from behind the DC-3

Maybe it is picky about what it counts as a landing :P

I'm not too good at landing a chopper, so maybe that's it
