There are issues with drivers and the new elements Acceleration/SP2 use. Nvidia and ATi are working on the problems.

Go into the Nvidia driver control panel. Under MANAGE 3D SETTINGS find: Vertical Sync (bottom of the list)

Set it to: FORCE ON or ALWAYS ON

See if that does not cure your jitters

No beer please. It gives me a headache.

Bacardi works though.

Beer is fun, but, liquor is quicker.

I had the same exact situation. So that's the adjustment that needs to be made? Thanx Semper Fi, Dave

I took the chance of an over the top install of Acceleration when it first came out, all worked well.  As part of this I did the Vertical Sync trick because of the shuttering effect when you spin around quickly.  As time went on I needed to reinstall to sort something else out-totally unconnected, even tried the full set up in XP rather than Vista.  Contrary to public opinion Vista worked best for me by a long chalk but thats another subject.  After the clean install, both XP and Vista setup no longer needed the Sync locking on.....

Alright I tried that set up. It seemed to do better than before, but it seems to be on par with FS9. The wavey stuff on the horizon is gone, but the trees are still sparkling. I looked through the items on the disk. I found the SP1 file, but not the SP2. Is there a way I can just download SP2 off of the disk without loading all the missions and aircraft? Thanx.
