Well you don't have to use them in FS9...I'm sure not too many designers will be implementing VC's in their models for FSX...It takes alot of time and effort...Good luck with that...None of the POSKY aircraft have VC's just so you know...Have fun flying without any instruments...

doesn't the POSKY 757-200 have a VC?

anyways, i am almost out of laptop battery power...

wow I noticed NOBODY could tell our little FSX friend that when he's in any view, he can simply push the A button to switch between sub views for each view, and S for switching actual views.  ::)

This is not true for all computers Ashar. In fact, ever since my switch to XP, I'm getting better performance and smoother sim rates with FSX, when I had Vista FS9 was the better choice. It all depends on your computer.

Then perhaps you`d be more at home in the FS9 forum......  Meanwhile, back on topic....  Have you tried the cycling effect of the 'A' key as suggested.  That should get you all the views Evan....  You used a reset utility, thats why you were asked to activate your FSX again.

Well, I would.

But after I got this baby up and running, I noticed that I am only given two view options, cockpit, and aircraft. No VC, spots, tower views :S

I'm scared, anyone know how to fix this?

Try pressing F9 to bring up Virtual Cockpit view. F10 for 2D panel. That's how it works in the FSX demo & I don't suppose they changed it. It should be possible to change the default cockpit view from FSX/Settings/Display/Aircraft.
