aside from a $2500 price tage. ive seen adds in some flight sim mags of some prity insaine monster computers. They have mother bords now capable of 8 even 16 gigs of ram. now if you had a virtualy unlimited amount of money ( which i do not have) could you pice to gether a monster thats capable of full tilt fsx. im not talking about off the shelf model here im talking about a custom beast  ;D. the kind that the most hardend computer geek would drool over.
big or small i like them all ...? that dosent sound right
slew mode dose not count as flying

I reviewed a number of pertinent articles and forum inputs reference the use of a SLI configuration with FSX.  Some people who have installed two graphic cards claim some increase in performance. One study indicates improved performance in the form of better
fill rate. Other people say there are no benefits. What is one to believe? I believe that FSX runs well on a high-end system with only one graphics card and offers little justification for the added expense of a second card. However, if one were building a new rig, it would be foolish not to include the capability (motherboard) for going to a SLI configuration. I would think that Microsoft
1.   Chaser MK-1 Full Tower ATX Computer Case
2.   Core i7 3770K 1155 Processor OC to 4.7 GHz
3.   ASUS Maximus V Gene Motherboard
4.   EVGA GTX580 1536MB Video Card
5.   16 GB C8 G.SKI

FSX doesn`t utilise SLI.......

Reider

Not true

you must be above 2xxx X 1xxx to see any advantage but it will utilize SLI

SLI is not about the application its about the driver which is why some report increases while other report not worth it. If the monitor can not obtain the posted resolution range, its not worth it

Sir

As having purchased a new Dell XPS less than a year ago, I can report that they seem to be having problems with their high end machines, and, unfortunately, customer support has deteriorated extremely from my first Dell XPS about 8 years ago.
