FSX Acceleration: Worth the Buy?

Got word today that mine was being picked and packaged for delivery, yahey!  Then 2 hours later a message it had been despatched!!!  Release date here is November 2nd so they`ve posted early to get it here on time, nice one-may even get here before the day, lol  ;)

I've had Acceleration for a couple of days now. I have a pretty good pc and, believe it or not, I had better, sharper graphics without Acceleration. I have my graphics set to unlimited and everything else to 60%+ and never had all the skipping and studdering. In addition, I've picked up that sparkly look I had FS9 - that's hard on my eyes, and it just doesn't look good. I'm more of a low and slow simmer. I'll "fly" a fighter or vintage Mustang once in awhile, but I'm not interested in landing on an aircraft carrier or racing a plane with a fuel cell on only one side - I never have figured out how to "fly" a chopper, so for me, it wasn't worth it.
