Add ons and mesh question??

Postby bassjace » Tue Oct 30, 2007 6:54 pm

Hi,
I would like to say hi to all, I am new to your forum and fairly new to the simmer scene. I have a PPL myself so I absolutely love to fly but cannot these days due to a medical reason. (If I could cut it out I would) so have taken a step back to VR.

What I would like to know is with all the scenery add ons and mesh's that are available on the market how well do they coexist with each other?
I have purchased the 3 AeroFiles Texture packs from FlightSim Store but was looking at other enhancements to increase the photo realism of the flightsim but am unsure of how the software interacts with each other.
Any advice on what is the best, what to stay away from?
I am eagerly watching FlightTerrain X release, anybody else?

cheers

None yet, still waiting for the good oil, and thx Krigl for that info! I'll check it out. I loved Holger's work in FS9.

I was wrong - he has ALREADY made it. There's a link in the Pub in the VOZ site. However, not a massive improvement over either Wier's or the payware or the default for FSX, because FSX mesh is already sampled from 90m data or something or whatever. I'm probably going to just use Weir's or default until something with a higher LOD comes out, if it ever does. Let's hope  :)
