Is acceleration doing anything for XP?

Is it doing anything more than adding planes and missions for us XP users???

I've only run under dx9 for a few minutes, but I know it adds an "engine stress causes damage" option to aircraft realism, and few new scenery areas.
For example, Edwards AFB seems to have been re-done nicely.
Might be some other funtionality added, but I haven't had time to play with it much yet.
As far as performance goes, I don't know. FSA wasn't working right when I tried DX9, and since I got it running correctly in DX10,  I havn't tried 9 again.

I would gladly do this except I am about 30 miles away from my sim at the moment. :(
If somebody else doesn't get to it first, i'll try it tonite, and post again tomorrow. No internet connection back home at the moment, so I have to come back into town to post.

Also there are new missions and a multi player racing feature....

Ok, I ran tests has requested. 737 and a321 passenger window lights are now visible from outside.
The learjet spoiler does in fact move, however, not being an expert on the lear, I am not sure if it's totally fixed. They deploy, but only about 5 degrees. When on the ground, they are about level with the ground, which  strikes me has not being open enough to cause much drag. Like I said though, I am not personnally familliar enough with the aircraft to know if this is accurate to the prototype or not.

The learjet is aceptable issue, (its a wrong animation, should deploy 40 degree) But I'm very very Glad about the Lights of the A321 & B737-800 ,Now we can take Night shots  :D
