Installing Acceleration: XP vs VISTA?

Postby Keep It Simple » Sat Oct 27, 2007 5:34 pm

I currently got FSX installed in a dual boot sys (XP and VISTA), installed under XP.
I'm also running a 8800GTX

1) Is there any real point in installing

Acceleration works great with XP I am impressed with system performance. How does your GTX card run FSX in Vista mode?.  8-)

If you have any desire to explore the new "DX10 Preview" mode of Acceleration, then install to Vista, otherwise stick with WinXP.

Well yeah.....
My question: Are any DX10 changes  really worth the trouble?
The changes in the  FXS DX10 "preview" seems to be extremely minor at best.
