View over the panel

Postby captjim » Mon Oct 08, 2007 7:36 am

:-? Hi fellow simmers, captjim here,

I have upgraded my system and I finally am able to use my FSX.  It's great.  My problem is this, when the program opens in the cockpit view (2d) you cannot see over the panel.  In FS2 & FS9 all you had to do was push the enter & shift key to raize the seat, so to speak.  Is there a simple key stroke in FX that will do the same thing???  Thanks, captjim  ;)

:-[ Hi uncleyuk,  I have also used the + & - tools but as you said it does not give you a very good view.  I have to resort to the W view and eliminate the panel, especially when landing.  I guess it's a small price to pay for the great graphics, eh??? Captjim

REmember that in FSX you can now control the transparency of the 2D panel to help the view through it.

well pretty much everytime some one comes along with a question about "raising their seat in the 2-D panel" I say, "hey, FSX has a panel transperency feature you can activate it by yada yada yad...." and yet they seem to not be listening.

Just grab the panel with the mouse, and move it down.  No need for goofy buttons to change the seat height and everything. :P
