i think for the mose part from what i have read most agree including myself that there is no clear winner. except fore a few hard core fs9 and fsx lovers. i myself agree that right now fsx is an exalent sim for low and slow i have enjoyed many hours in hawaii and many places just flying around. even though my pc is hardly capable of such a game. but on the other hand i love commershal flying. and thats where fs9 comes in. upgrades to if you like to download and customize fs9 is for you so
-low and slow fsx
-fast fs9
-crazy upgrades fs9
-eazy-er on your comp fs9
but given time fsx will slowly acheve the things we love so much in fs9. Like a huge feware base and hardwear will catch up to the game as well.
but right now its not fare to say that anyone is defanitly better thet the other right now for many reasons.
big or small i like them all ...? that dosent sound right
slew mode dose not count as flying

And aides me when aye rime.

And wee mussed dew the best wee can,

Each frays come posed up on my screen
Eye trussed to bee a joule
The checker poured o'er every word
To cheque sum spelling rule.

Great shots Dave... :)

Have a computer chap coming tomorrow to tweek this machine, I shall show him what you told me to do and have him do it.
He is also going to check drivers and updates as I am having a problem installing a critical update for some reason, but it seems it is an update a lot of folks are having a problem with.
He will install the Beaver for me and whatever else I can find on amphibious floats for Microsoft Simulator X.
The utilities section of simviation downloads for FSX I would also like him to install from page 4 the trees, airport lighting and taxiway addons.

I do not think my Ultimate Terrain for Canada & Alaska will work for Microsoft Flight Simulator X Deluxe Edition so that might be a waste of time having him trying to install that.

If you get a chance Dave can you check out Eugene Heyart's homepage "Stratojet Home" and look at the update for the Otters he produced.
I am not exactly sure what new program he speaks about for Microsoft Flight Simulator X is.

If you can think of anything else I should add or do please let me know.

Will keep you advised on how it looks, thanks for all the help.

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Doug,

In reference to the Otters: E.H. is speaking of design programs that would allow him to remake the Otter into a 'true' FSX aircraft .

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
