How do you undo airplane crash damage?

Postby pwjoy » Sun Sep 09, 2007 6:31 am

My Lear 45 crashed landed in Geneva when the ILS altitude hold malfunctioned. Because  show crash damage was enabled, it ended up penetrating the runway.  Now if I try to use the airplane, it is all broken in pieces with the crash configuration nose down on top of the runway.  If I load the same default flight with a different airplane, it too looks like the Lear.

Any help will be appreciated.

I do not fully understand your problem, but it sounds like you have saved a flight after a crash. Set up a flight in what ever configuration you want, cold dark or engines running ready for take off and then save that either as default. The next time you start FSX, you should be ready to go again.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Alternatively, load a 737 or something, then use the file menu to change to the Learjet, then save
