Annoying black line!

Hello,
I just got a few alphasim aircraft for FS04 and put em in FSX and theres a annoying black strip at the bottom of the screen how do i get rid of it? I heard you had to edit the pnel.fg but what part? :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/

Yes mate, I have had this problem too. However, there is a fix, and I have helped quite a few people this way.

Open the planes panel.cfg. Scroll down to the section labelled window.00. Look for an area labelled render_3d_window=1. Change the 1 to 0. Repeat on offending planes.

i would like to thank you for this advice...i just downloaded the seafury for 2004 into my fsx and had that blackline, i have had it with other aircraft and just dealt with it by deleting the plane. Now i can go back and download those other planes.  Thank you  :)
