FSXAI Installer

FSXAI Installer

Postby expat » Fri Aug 31, 2007 12:46 pm

I downloaded this from the utilities page. Had a look at the readme and followed the instructions, however all that happens is the program requests access to the internet and then says "done". I am beginning to wonder if I have been. Has anyone else tried this utility or got it to work?

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

I have never seen it or used it but would like to try it though.  Where is it? Can you create and add a link to its location.

Hello:
I have used it and it seems to work fine. However the directions are somewhat confusing, so it did take some time in figuring how to use it.
I guess when you press the install button and see the popup screen that says "done", the main FSXIA program gets installed into a folder called "FSXAIRPLANESINSTALLER" of the main directory of the C. drive. Open that folder and click the file called FSXAI.exe and choose the aircraft that you want to install.

Inspite that, I still prefer to manually install the aircrafts myself.
