An extra plane (Maule, I believe); Some extra panels for various planes, based on the Garmin glass cockpits; A few extra missions; Some airports are higher quality, as well as some cities.

I believe that's it. I could be mistaken though.

It comes with the Goose and Maule Orion and regular doesnt (I HAVE REGULAR) and it comes with heaps more missions but regular comes with a lot anyway. Also you can be ATC. There are more fully detailed airports. Some airports in FSX ar less detailed regular only has 24 (i think) but Dleuxe has more.

So there all the diffrences.

No one seems to have mentioned that the SDKs only come with deluxe  ;)

Don't bother buying standard, a lot of payware addons are now requiring the SDKs installed, and for that you must have deluxe version (As far as I am aware, you can't download them).

That's interesting.  I was not aware of this, and from my (admittedly limited) reading of the SDKs (which means I haven't read ALL of them in detail) I'm not sure what content would be created that *requires* a user to have the SDK installed.

I know that to CREATE content, say a mission, you need the SDKs, but not to simply use content created.

I'd be grateful i f you can point me in the direction of one of those payware add-ons.

This is correct.  While the SDK updates are downloadable, you still need to have installed the original SDK from the DVD 1

This new product from Aerosoft requires the SDKs, and if the demo is anything to go by, it's worth buying deluxe ;)

Quote from the Aerosoft Website:
please note the special requirements regarding the SDK

If other more scenery using this technology is created, I'd imagine that SDKs will be needed for them too.
