A couple of late-night questions

Postby bok269 » Mon Aug 20, 2007 1:11 am

1) is there anyway to change the save to points of screenshots?  I take alot, and the .bmp files are eating up a lot of space on my HD, potentially affecting my performance.

2) I flew into SABA today, but was unable to use ATC because there were no runways you could select for landing.  Is there any way to add them in?

Convert them to jpegs. You don't lose any quality and they take up a fraction of the space..

I do, but I like to keep he originals around.  Any ideas other than just continually moving them?

Get a screenshot program like FSScreen or YAFSScreen. FSScreen will save screenshots in whatever folder you put the .exe file in. Then you make a shortcut to put wherever you keep your shortcut for FSX. YAFSScreen allows you to set a destination directory. Irfanview also works but I like FSScreen better for screenshots.

Burn the image files to a disc and then delete them from your HD.
Hope all is well in your world today

Just choose "Options"-"Capture" on the Irfanview menu and that will open up a configuration dialog where you can set the destination directory and file type. The only thing I don't like about Irfanview is it uses "Crtl+F11 as a hot key and that conflicts with some add ons in with FSX.
