The file to be replaced is "autogen.bgl" in Scenery\Global\Scenery.

The SP1 version is 13Mb, the RTM version is 22Mb...

How to get your hands on the RTM version is entirely your problem 'tho. ;)

And my system is not even that awesome. I just traded missing road traffic in for more autogen. That's about it. And I got rid of the original air traffic and using my own instead. Running both fine at 100%.
All at a framelock of 18.

You mean you deleted the aircraft that came with the package, right?

Thanks!

Dont worry, I will get the file, one way or another

aussiewannabe:
no, he removed the file aircrafttraffic.bgl from Scenery\world\scenery folder and I assume he replaced AI with his own traffic, downloaded from PAI or World of AI which puts new traffic bgl files in the system and because the new AI planes were made for frames and dont hit your system, he can fly major AI traffic and not see a hit.

Oh, I see :D

I need to look into adding AI traffic. Looking at the same aircraft time and time again is getting quite boring. To tell you the truth, I don't even click on the air traffic option anymore.

here is a tip.. if you dont use AI traffic at all, and some people don't because it hits the system too hard, you can move the traffic

My traffic is a mix between WOAI, Adobe's Traffic pack, the Ultimate GA packages, some custom traffic and some GA traffic generated with GA Traffic.

The skies have never been busier and everywhere I go, I still see some new airlines. ;D

If you have custom traffic and you still care about the few megaybtes of disk space, you can safely delete the pa28_180, md_83 and dhc_100 folders, from your SimObjects\Airplanes folder.

He was all wound up because I called him on the settings changes for MergeDirtyRegionUpdates= and DirtyRegionUpdateLimit= not doing anything but being a placebo because they have nothing to do with ground or aircraft textures, its about the cockpit with certain driver issues.

I was wound up with argueing over a TV show. 'Owned', and calling my images fake. And now I am wound up because your talking absolute crap throughout that entire post.

Also, he tried to claim on page 2 of this thread that the numbers NickN[ch8217]s grandson came up with for TBM and SWTO,

Hey ZeroTime and you, Stubbedtoe16 are great to have on the forum.

I'm 68, and though I can't quite work out NickN's age I suspect he is closer to me than to you.

I am astonished to learn that Miltestpilot is 82 - and that gives me great hope.

But from time to time we all get a bit irritated with each other.  In my case its usually after a few frustrated hours tweaking the game - or I've got a CTD 20 minutes from the end of a three hour flight.

Or my back hurts.

Stay with us, and remember that we all- young or old - from time to time get a bit short with each other.  But I for one know that I would have ditched FSX if it hadn't been for the great help given to me by the gurus in this forum.  It is the best and most helpful group of enthusiasts of any of the forums.

P.S. When I come back here in two years I am putting a big disclaimer as my signature. ALL THINGS I POST ARE NOT NESSESARILY TRUE, THOUGH I WILL TRY AND HELP.

Dude...where's the backbone?

Actually, if he came back just to continue the argument, I'd doubt his backbone is missing. ;D
