FSX Delux Question SP1

FSX including FSX Steam version.

FSX Delux Question SP1

Postby MattNW » Thu Aug 09, 2007 9:57 pm

I just picked up a copy of FSX Deluxe. Yeah, I know I should have got it from the beginning but the standard version was all that was available at the time. Just wondering if I need to download SP 1 or is it already included in the retail packages?

There should be a way to check, but I wouldn't know how....I would just download and install SP1 anyways.

I doubt the disk has SP1 on it

right click FSX.exe in the main FSX folder. Select properties and the version tab. Highlight version in the list and this should be the number:

10.0.61355.0
(fsx-sp1.20070510-2038)

If it isnt, you dont have SP1

SP1 is not in the box. There currently is no slipstream plan, although it is something we are thinking about for next year.

Thanks Phil

I was wondering myself if you guys had put another run of the disks on the market or not. I figured if that was going to happen you would slipstream an entire 'combined' update into it over a single service pack.

Thanks for the info. I think it's great having members off the ACES team posting on the forum. It makes for less uncertainty and a better product although those crazy AI still aren't behaving themselves.  ;D
